Trailer exterior lighting and electric brake tester using your Milwaukee M-18 tool battery
$219.95
The 4T Power Systems Remote Control Trailer Light and Brake Tester with Volt/Ammeter is designed for RVs, trailers, and campers with a 7-blade RV Plug. Made in Piedmont, SD by 4T Power Systems, this item includes *2 remote controls for exterior trailer lights and a brake tester, with a volt/ammeter, all in one convenient unit.
There are two power options for the tester; the Milwaukee tool battery is an option if the RV battery is low or not installed. Typically, upon connection of the 7-way trailer plug, the tester will power up if sufficient trailer battery power is available through the charge line or by installing and turning on the tool battery. The tool battery onboard convertor is set to approximately 13.6VDC, the same as the RV Convertor.
The two included remotes activate the systems as follows: "A" will toggle on/off the TM (tail & marker lights), "B" & "C" are momentary for left and right turn signals (Press and hold for activation), "D" will activate the electric brakes for 20 seconds to test by spinning (if on jackstands) and testing amperage load of brake system. Depending on the brake system installed, each wheel should use between 3.5 and 5 amps. A separate yellow switch is installed for Backup lighting, and a Red switch for brake lights. The remotes cannot signal through the trailer, so aim under or around the unit.
Two Circuit breakers protect your trailer: a 20-amp circuit for electric brakes and a 15-amp circuit for lighting. Two power outputs include a Power Port and a PID/USB charger. Perfect for setting up a backup camera system or Tailgating.
With a 30-day warranty if the test box is unopened, this product is reliable and efficient for ensuring the safety and functionality of your trailer before and while on the road. Perfect for anyone looking to enhance their trailer setup with a trusted and durable system.
