Keep in mind that higher amperage may quickly drain the battery. If there is a potential grounding issue, a Black port is provided to serve as an auxiliary ground source for the trailer frame. The second Red port provides a +13.6 VDC supply for testing individual lights, circuits, or whatever you may need that is 12 VDC and up to 25 amps.
